Rosa dels Vents

Launched in March of 2002, Rosa dels Vents is the Random House Mondadori  imprint dedicated to Catalan publishing.

 

Offering a wide selection of genres and authors, Rosa dels Vents’s publishing program is divided into three collections: "Narrativa catalana" ("Catalan Literature"), dedicated to original works of fiction in this language, offers titles from well-known authors such as Jaume Benavente, while promoting new voices like Blanca Busquets and Judit Pujadó; "Narrativa" ("Narrative"), publishes Catalan versions of the group’s best sellers and simultaneous editions with the Spanish, such as L’església del mar (The Cathedral of the Sea) by Ildefonso Falcones and La sang dels innocents (The Blood of the Innocent) by Julia Navarro; and "Actualitat" ("Current Events") publishes biographies, memoirs, historical nonfiction, journalistic essays, and investigative books.
